Earlier this year I posted about the woodpile<\/a>. That pile is used up. Which just goes to show you how much wood you need to heat a house. Unfortunately wood is not the magic bullet to overcome peak gas and oil. I could be a useful supplement for some of us. Which is what we use it for, reducing our need for other forms of heating i.e. natural gas.\u00a0 There is still plenty of free scrap wood available, you just have to be proactive getting it.<\/p>\n
